Sorry, big guy, but the reason that Speaker Pelosi will have a hard time is simple -- the Shrub still has the power of veto. Something we have to work on.
The only solution I can think of is something I just heard Randi Rhodes say. She thinks the reason Rumsfield was told to quit as Secretary of Defense was that someone from the Democratic camp called Bush in the middle of the night & told him he had a choice: either fire Rummy or look forward to an impeachment.
Can we play that card again? And as many times as we'd like? Given the choice of impeachment or the Shrub's manhood in a jar, I'll be happy to find a secure safe for the body part. That would be the appropriate solution for a ersatz, wannabe dictator.
